Accompanist Byron
Marshall returns to the Wilmington Choral Society as accompanist for the Spring Season, 2010. Mr. Marshall
is a December,2002, graduate of Louisburg High School where he served as accompanist for the Louisburg High School Music Department
and conducted the Glee Club. Mr. Marshall's extensive resume includes work in the music departments of the Franklin
County School System and at Louisburg College. At Louisburg College he served as adjunct accompanist for the music department.
His service on the Franklin County Arts Council Advisory Board garnered him state recognition as the youngest board member
in county history. Byron's busy schedule includes teaching private piano, organ, and voice lessons. Mr. Marshall has served
a number of churches as Minister of Music and he currently serves Ogden Baptist Church of Wilmington, N.C. He travels throughout
North Carolina as a concert pianist for religious, collegiate, civic, and social events. Mr. Marshall holds an Associate of
Fine Arts Degree in Music Education and Piano Performance from Louisburg College. Hs is currently pursuing distance learning
undergraduate and graduate degrees with Eastern College of Music of Charlotte, N.C. The Wilmington Choral Society is delighted
to welcome the return of this extremely talented young man to our group.
